These two projects were both updates to the existing online portals of national retail chains of art and home décor. The goal was to bring these sites, both owned by the same family, up to date from Web 1.0 to a modern interface.

A new approach was crafted  that focused on giving potential visitors of the brick and mortar stores a visual representation of how the products might fit into their own homes. Products were sorted into style based categories and coupled with visuals that helped guide the site visitors to the products that would suit them best. From there, search became a more enjoyable and personal experience. After the updated, site traffic, customer engagement, and sale completions improved drastically.
