The Next Step Campus Tour was an effort on behalf of Crocs Footwear to reach out to its younger pool of potential buyers. This project was heralded by a third-party even planner that worked closely with the design team. I completed support designs including most print pieces, large format graphics, way-finding signage, and corresponding websites featuring tour information. Some imagery was provided by Crocs Footwear; thus, the challenge became more about integrating those elements with concepts I had created independently to set the tone of the tour. Rough textures and dimensional design elements such as torn paper, staples, and tape were often used to convey a more underground feel to the event. This gave audience members a feeling of being “in the know.”
